Spain Into the Final: Oyarzabal and Porro Sink a Flat France

Spain are through to the World Cup final after a composed and controlled 2-0 victory over France in Dallas, according to Sky Sports. Mikel Oyarzabal converted a penalty and Pedro Porro added a second to end France's tournament in the semi-finals.
France arrived as one of the pre-tournament favourites, with joint-top scorer Kylian Mbappe and the tournament's leading assist maker Michael Olise in their ranks. But Sky Sports reports their attack simply failed to fire, with the performance described as poor and lacking the sharpness that had carried them this far.
Spain, meanwhile, were efficient and assured, the European champions adding a World Cup final appearance to their growing list of recent honours.
They will now await the winner of the second semi-final between England and Argentina, with Sunday's final promising to be a landmark occasion whichever side emerges.
