Sweden Thrash Tunisia 5-1 in World Cup Group F Opener
Sweden put on a commanding display to dismantle Tunisia and start their World Cup campaign in serious style.
Sweden delivered a thoroughly dominant performance to open their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign, beating Tunisia 5-1 in Group F at Monterrey Stadium, according to beIN Sports.
The Swedes showed quality across the pitch and their attacking threat proved far too much for a Tunisia side that struggled to contain them throughout the match.
With the Netherlands and Japan drawing 2-2 in the other Group F fixture, Sweden find themselves in pole position after matchday one, with a superior goal difference setting them apart from the rest of the group.
