Tuchel Hails Kane and Bellingham After England's Big Win
England manager Thomas Tuchel has given glowing assessments of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham following their side's 4-2 opening victory over Croatia.
Thomas Tuchel could barely contain his admiration for his star players after England's bright World Cup start, according to Sky Sports. The England manager singled out captain Harry Kane and playmaker Jude Bellingham as central to the team's performance in Texas, describing both as being in excellent shape heading into the tournament.
Tuchel also reserved warm words for Marcus Rashford, who got himself on the scoresheet and has clearly impressed in training camp. The manager revealed he had a personal conversation with Rashford about his form, telling the forward he was impressed by his commitment in every session and every meeting.
With Ghana up next for England in Group L on Tuesday, Tuchel will be hoping that attacking threat continues, even as he acknowledges there is defensive work to do after a nervy display at the back.
