England manager Thomas Tuchel faces a genuine selection headache at centre-back ahead of the Ghana fixture, according to Sky Sports. Marc Guehi is pushing for a starting place after both John Stones and Ezri Konsa delivered unconvincing displays in the 4-2 victory over Croatia.

Sky Sports points to an intriguing subplot at club level. Stones, who is leaving Manchester City at the end of his contract this summer, started just five Premier League games for City over the past year and the team lost four of them.
