Yamal and Porro Race the Clock for Spain's World Cup Final
BeIN Sports reports Spain are monitoring Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro as both work through individual sessions days before the final against Argentina.
Spain's preparations for the World Cup final have been shadowed by concern over two key players, according to beIN Sports. Lamine Yamal, the tournament's youngest and most electrifying talent, was seen training separately with a bandage on his left thigh, the same area he injured before the competition began.
Lateral defender Pedro Porro has also been working in individualised sessions away from the main group. However, beIN Sports reports that the Spanish Football Federation has sought to calm nerves, with medical and coaching staff describing both situations as precautionary rather than serious.
The remaining squad members have been going through their normal routines at the team's base in New Jersey. If Yamal and Porro continue to improve through Friday's sessions as planned, Spain expect both to be available for Sunday's showdown with Argentina in New York.
